My love of nature drew me to the Wehr Nature Center as a volunteer and board member. I have lived near Wehr my entire life and have enjoyed walks on the trails and viewing the birds and animals.Just sitting on a bench to view the lake and listen to the sounds of nature is relaxing, refreshing and peaceful. I also enjoy the great educational programs. The virtual birding program I recently attended was really good, and I learned a lot of new and interesting things about birds from the naturalists.
